A cancellation and reschedule policy template for deposits, balances, cancellations, changes, and pickup.

Deposit / Retainer
A deposit is required to reserve your event date. Your order is not booked until the deposit has been paid and the quote has been accepted.
Balance Due
The remaining balance is due by:

Orders with unpaid balances may be paused, rescheduled, or cancelled according to the policy shared at booking.
Cancellation
If you need to cancel, please contact me as soon as possible. Because custom cake orders require planning, supplies, and reserved calendar time, deposits are not automatically refundable.
Reschedule
Reschedule requests are handled based on availability. If the new date is available and supplies/work have not already been completed, I will do my best to move the order.
Design Changes
Design changes must be requested by:

Late changes may require an additional fee or may not be possible depending on the order timeline.
